The rowing team of the Real Club Náutico Torrevieja brings gold and silver back from Denia

The Virgen de los Desamparados and race nr 8 in the open league for Fixed Mediterranean Bank, held in the waters of the Denia bay on Sunday April 17th, gave another victory to the three teams that traveled to this Alicantese city for the Real Club Náutico de Torrevieja.
The men’s veterans team achieved a creditable fourth place overall; we’re sure you will soon jump to the podium as befits a team with such a brilliant curriculum.
It is reaffirmed that the incorrigible cadets are in great form and climbed to the top of the podium as seems usual for them.
Especially mentioned should be the team who really starred during the day: the lady-veterans, who are an example of progression and seamanship.
In the regional competition they started getting a sixth in the overall standings, and on Sunday they enjoyed the sweetness of victory with their silver medal. It is a clear example that sport rewards people’s perseverance and effort. This team is the personification of everything you need to look at in sport.
Girls who initially had nails, have claws now and are taught at every opportunity. So, congratulations again to all who make this possible, because this silver feels like gold!!
