Yesterday afternoon, on the terrace of the RCN Torrevieja, was held an event to pay tribute to our athletes. Jesús Rogel, bronze medal in the XVII Mediterranean Games in Mersin (Turkey) in Laser STD class. Ascensión Roca de Togores, World Runner-up in Europe Class in Sonderborg (Denmark). And Lars Gumprecht, World Champion of Coastal Rowing in Helsingborg (Campeón del Mundo de Remo de Mar en Helsingborg (Sweden).
During the event, Durante el acto, presided by Germán Soler, president of the RCNT, Eduardo Dolón, mayor of Torrevieja, Luis María Pizana, city councillor of sports, and different members of the Board of Directors of the RCNT, our athletes received nameplates in recognition of their effort during the different championships.
The event ended with a feast for all people taking part.
