Un viento adecuado para sacar sus velas y tener un d\u00eda de navegaci\u00f3n excelente sobre un recorrido de 11 millas, donde una baliza situada frente a las columnas de la playa del cura dieron espect\u00e1culo a las personas que estaban de espectadores\u00a0 en la playa.<br>La embarcaci\u00f3n C.A.F la vencedora de la jornada en categor\u00eda ORC A y B seguido del barco Malicia y de la embarcaci\u00f3n Icaro Cinco, completaron el podio en esta categor\u00eda. En categor\u00eda C la embarcaci\u00f3n Kenia obten\u00eda el primer puesto seguido de Rebuch y de Mandaga II, en categor\u00eda Promoci\u00f3n el la embarcaci\u00f3n Madeira cruzaba la linea de meta en primera posici\u00f3n, Mentemis en segunda y Spit en tercera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Una vez terminada la regata los participantes pudieron disfrutar de un aperitivo en la terraza del club, donde a continuaci\u00f3n se dispuso la repartici\u00f3n de los premios siendo emotivo el momento en el que Emilio Rogel, gerente de la \u00d3ptica Chantal, comparti\u00f3 con nosotros una carta escrita por \u00e9l y dedicada a nuestra compa\u00f1era Teresa Perez-Bedmar.<br>Las fotos de la regata realizadas por Joaqu\u00edn Carri\u00f3n, pueden encontrarlas en el facebook del Real Club N\u00e1utico Torrevieja y en su flickr.<br><br>TAMBIEN SE ENTREGARON LOS TROFEOS DE LA REGATA DE LAS 40 MILLAS A LAS HORMIGAS.<br>Simult\u00e1neamente con la regata \u00d3ptica Chantal, se entregaron los trofeos de la regata disputada el s\u00e1bado d\u00eda 19, por aplazamiento de la fecha anterior, en la que los barcos hicieron el recorrido a las Islas Hormigas en dos categor\u00edas (a Dos y Crucero). La regata transcurri\u00f3 con un viento de 12 nudos del Sur, lo que la hizo r\u00e1pida y entretenida. Los barcos fueron agasajados con un caldo con pelotas a la llegada escalonada de cada una de las tripulaciones.
